Work Suitability Levels: Each Pal has a level (1–4) for each work type. Higher levels = faster and more efficient work. Use the Pal Essence Condenser to boost a Pal's work suitability by 1 level. Work priority is automatic — Pals prioritize defense > construction > resource gathering > transport.

🔥 Kindling

Operates furnaces, campfires, cooking pots, and heaters. Essential for smelting ore into ingots and cooking food.

Best Pals: Jormuntide Ignis (Lv4), Blazamut Ryu (Lv4), Ragnahawk (Lv3), Bushi (Lv3), Flambelle (Lv2)

💧 Watering

Irrigates crops at plantations and powers water-based structures like the Crusher and Mill. Core part of automated farming.

Best Pals: Jormuntide (Lv4), Faleris Aqua (Lv4), Azurobe (Lv3), Penking (Lv2), Pengullet (Lv1)

🌱 Planting

Sows seeds at plantations to start the crop growth cycle. Works best paired with Watering, Gathering, and Transporting.

Best Pals: Lyleen (Lv4 — only Lv4 planter), Petallia (Lv3), Mossanda (Lv3), Elizabee (Lv2), Tanzee (Lv1)

⚡ Generating Electricity

Powers electric devices and generators. Required for late-game automation and electric workbenches.

Best Pals: Orserk (Lv4), Grizzbolt (Lv3), Sparkit (Lv2), Jolthog (Lv1)

🛠️ Handiwork

Handles crafting, construction, and repairs at workbenches and assembly lines. Can assist with building inside and outside the base.

Best Pals: Anubis (Lv4), Lyleen (Lv4), Katress (Lv3), Penking (Lv2), Lifmunk (Lv1)

🌾 Gathering

Harvests crops from plantations and collects items in the field. Higher levels increase crop yield significantly.

Best Pals: Frostallion Noct (Lv4 — only Lv4), Knocklem (Lv3), Verdash (Lv3), Lyleen (Lv3)

🪓 Lumbering

Chops down trees at Logging Sites for wood. Can also assist the player when chopping trees in the field.

Best Pals: Bushi (Lv3), Mammorest (Lv3), Wumpo (Lv3), Grizzbolt (Lv2), Tanzee (Lv1)

⛏️ Mining

Mines rocks, ore deposits, and stone. Essential for resource gathering — ore for ingots, stone for building.

Best Pals: Astegon (Lv4), Blazamut Ryu (Lv4), Anubis (Lv3), Digtoise (Lv3), Cattiva (Lv1)

💊 Medicine Production

Crafts medical items at medicine workbenches. Used for treating injuries, ailments, and status effects.

❄️ Cooling

Cools refrigerators and egg incubators. Slows food expiration and supports temperature-sensitive structures.

📦 Transporting

Moves items from harvest stations and the ground into storage chests. Keeps your base clean and organized.

Best Pals: Knocklem (Lv4 — fastest), Wumpo (Lv4), Vanwyrm (fast for low-stack items), Cattiva (Lv1)

🐔 Farming

Produces items passively when assigned to a Ranch. Each Pal drops its element-associated resource (wool, milk, eggs, etc.).

Best Pals: Lamball (Wool), Chikipi (Eggs), Flambelle (Flame Organs), Mozzarina (Milk), Beegarde (Honey)

Work Priority System

Pals automatically prioritize tasks in this order (lower = higher priority):

Tip: Use the Monitoring Stand at your base to direct Pals to specific tasks. This overrides their default priority so you can force them to focus on what you need most.
