The only type with 2 strengths. Excellent throughout the entire game — Grass early, Ice late. Fire Pals also handle Kindling at base (smelting, cooking).
Water
✓ Strong against: Fire
✗ Weak to: Electric
Essential for base farming — Watering Pals irrigate crops and power the Crusher and Mill.
Grass
✓ Strong against: Ground
✗ Weak to: Fire
Grass Pals typically have Planting and Medicine Production skills for base work.
Electric

Electric Pals power generators and electrical devices at your base.

Dark Pals are commonly found at night. Strong against the many Neutral Pals in the game.
Neutral

✗ Weak to: Dark
The only type with no advantages. Avoid using Neutral Pals for type advantage battles.
Dual-Type Mechanics
- Penking (Water/Ice) — takes neutral Fire damage (Water resists, Ice is weak)
- Gumoss (Ground/Grass) — takes neutral Grass damage (Ground is weak, Grass resists)
- Jormuntide Ignis (Dragon/Fire) — takes neutral Ice damage (Dragon is weak, Fire resists)
