Tower Boss Guide
All 5 tower bosses in recommended order with weaknesses and strategies
1. Zoe & Grizzbolt
The easiest tower boss and the one the tutorial pushes you toward. Grizzbolt mixes ranged and melee attacks — the melee ones are easy to dodge by keeping a pillar between you. Stay at range and cycle Ground-type Pals like Fuddler and Gumoss.
2. Lily & Lyleen
Lyleen is slow but focuses on ranged and AoE attacks, forcing you to stay mobile. Don't saddle your Pal — having two separate targets makes it harder for Lyleen to focus. Bring Fire-type Pals and whittle down the 69k HP steadily. Over twice the health of Grizzbolt.
3. Axel & Orserk
The only dual-type boss. Orserk has fast homing attacks — mobility is critical. Use quick-firing weapons and mounted Pals to avoid wandering into attacks. Bring Ice and Ground Pals. Consider Mammorest Cryst or Anubis to tank damage, and Frostallion or Vanwyrm Cryst for flying damage dealers.
4. Marcus & Faleris
Faleris stays airborne the entire fight — melee Pals will struggle badly. Use pillars for cover and fight from range. Bring strong Water Pals like Jormuntide. Watch out: Faleris has some Electric attacks, so keep your Water-types mobile to avoid getting zapped.
5. Victor & Shadowbeak
The final boss. 200k HP in 10 minutes means you need a strong offensive push. Bring a level 50 team of Dragon Pals (Jetragon, Quivern), the best guns you can craft, and ideally Lifesteal passives. Shadowbeak knows Ice attacks to counter your Dragons — use pillars for cover and withdraw Pals selectively. You'll need to balance aggression with survival.
General Tower Boss Tips
| Tip | Details |
|---|---|
| Use pillars | Every tower arena has pillars. Use them to block ranged attacks and line-of-sight. |
| Don't saddle | For most fights, having your Pal unsaddled means two targets, making it harder for the boss to focus. |
| Bring the right type | Type advantage = 1.5x damage. Always check the boss's weakness before entering. |
| 10-minute timer | If you can't kill the boss in time, you fail. For Shadowbeak especially, you need sustained DPS. |
| Stock up | Bring plenty of healing items and ammo. You can't leave once you enter. |
| Counter-counter attacks | Late bosses (Orserk, Faleris, Shadowbeak) have moves that counter their own weakness type. Stay mobile. |
